While our group-coaching program is designed to meet the needs of our large and varied community, when it comes to achieving specific goals, nothing beats private coaching. Whether you’re looking to lose weight, increase strength, improve technique, prepare for an event, or just prefer a more personal setting, an individually designed program equates to faster results.

Private coaching is an amazingly effective and efficient way to achieve your individual fitness goals. Your coach will work with you to identify and clarify your fitness goals, assess your movement, and design a program specifically targeted at improving your deficiencies and optimizing your strengths, thereby enabling you to achieve your goals as quickly as possible.

Courses

On-Ramp $209Purchase required to enroll

Our on-ramp class meets 3 times a week for 4 weeks at pre-determined class times, as each class session builds on the last. It is designed for generally active and injury-free clients and is taught in a small-group setting as a way to offer safe and quality instruction in the basic Crossfit movements, which appear most often in our group class programming. In addition to drilling the fundamental exercises, on-ramp participants will be exposed to the fun of working out in a group as well as the intensity level that is so much a part of our workouts (in a progressively increasing manner). In addition, 2 additional (optional) 1/2 hour sessions will be scheduled during the month in order to introduce and discuss basic nutrition concepts and support client goals.

Boot Camp $199Purchase required to enroll

Uptown Crossfit Boot Camp is a great way to get started with CrossFit workouts in a positive, supportive, non-intimidating atmosphere complete with built-in accountability and high energy coaching. Programs run for 16 sessions over 8 weeks and are designed to give you a total body workout and improve your overall fitness level. Workouts include, barbell strength training, running, bodyweight exercises, plyometrics, kettlebells, sandbags and functional movements. Our Bootcamp program is suitable for all fitness levels. Beginner to advanced athletes will experience a challenging, functional and fun workout every session.

Many athletes new to CrossFit find our Bootcamps a nice bridge to the more intense, skill driven workouts that make up our regular CrossFit program.

Oakland Strong Weightlifting Club $250Purchase required to enroll

Oakland Strong is a 3 day/week Olympic lifting class, which is geared toward athletes looking to compete in the sport of Olympic lifting, CrossFitters and athletes competing in other sports looking to develop strength and power via the Olympic lifts, or anyone else looking for a dedicated time and place to practice the Olympic lifts.
